Have no hesitation in recommending this comfortably furnished & well equipped modern roomy apartment, in an exellent location for seeing the sights of & being close to the exuberance of Madrid. For myself, wife & adult daughter, staying there was a delight & we would definately stay there again.
We stayed recently at Apartmentos Madrid from 1 to 5 May, 2009. The location of the apartment is excellent with Puerta Del Sol and Plaza Mayor just a 5 min walk. The size of the apartment was excellent with a spacious living room and 2 bathrooms, one of which was quite large. The kitchen was also quite thoughtfully organized. It can accommodate 4 people quite easily, though we were 2. Though it was almost at the centre of the town, it was extremely quiet and we did not hear a single noise once inside at any time of the day. There were several restaurants nearby and bus/metro was a 1 min walk away.
We landed up on a holiday and the reception was closed. However the keys were arranged and Mr Sixto of the Bar Maestro Churrero showed us the room. The restaurant is also very good with an excellent selection of dishes.
Overall a very good experience. I would strongly recommend it to anyone planning to visit Madrid.
